Feeding my family

There are times when my family consumes a tremendous amount of food. I don’t know where it all goes! I used to eat so much more when I was younger. These days, I find it hard to eat much, especially if I’m not exercising regularly.  I’m also a dad, so you would think that I’d be active and running around all the time.

Kimchi Dubu Jaeyook Bokum

There is a very popular spicy Korean disk where you take some kimchi, pork, and tofu. You fry the kimchi and pork together, add some vegetables, and then lay some pieces of tofu next to all that great fried food. This is an oversimplification, but I think you get the idea. Trust me, it tastes better than it looks.

Kimchi and rice

I love kimchi and rice. Some may call it comfort food. Others may call it soul food. I call it my bread and butter. Of course, I normally don’t add butter to my bread, but it tastes so good when it’s served in restaurants!

Kimchi and rice are both Korean staples. You’ll find it in Korean homes. Most people can’t stand the smell of kimchi. After a while, your nose gets used to it. It acclimates.

Kimchi and rice. Who needs anything else?

I’m Joseph Chaiwhan Kim and I love eating kimchi and rice. How about you?
